Where our data comes from
Brox runs on real people we interview ourselves, under our own consent and licensing agreements.
The digital twins behind every insight are built only from that panel, never from client data. It's the foundation of how we work, and it's why the most sensitive data in the system is ours to protect, not yours to hand over.
What happens to your data
Your project data stays in your project: never used to train models, never added to the twin pool, never shared with other customers.
What we do learn from is how you use Brox. The questions you bring and the feedback you give help us make the product sharper at the problems our clients actually face, and your underlying data is never part of that.
Regulated industries
Much of our work is with pharma, healthcare, and finance teams, and we can accommodate the compliance requirements that come with them.
Brox is not a HIPAA covered entity, and we don't process protected health information on behalf of one. Because our panel is our own, not patient records or your data, there's no PHI in the system to begin with. That's deliberate, and it's part of why we can support work in tightly regulated areas. Adverse events come with research like this, and we can handle them: any that surface in an interview, we capture and escalate for reporting.
Security
Our SOC 2 Type II audit is complete; the report will be available to clients under NDA once issued.

Panel ethics & consent
Brox is only as good as the people behind it, and we treat them that way.
Every panellist consents to long-form interviewing and ongoing participation, consistent with the privacy laws of their territory. We're transparent about how we use their data. Compensation is fair-market, and above-market for hard-to-reach specialists like HCPs and HNWIs. Anyone can have their data deleted at any time, no questions asked.
