A bunch of humans.
One belief.

We left bigger jobs because we believe every decision about a human should be made on real human data.

The Brox team together

The team

  • Jill Ackermann

    Jill Ackermann

    Head of Strategic Partnerships

Jill's favourite question is “why”, which is convenient because Brox lets you ask it almost without limit. She joined as the first hire dedicated entirely to sales and partnership expansion, arriving from a deliberately vertical-agnostic career. Based in Ohio, she lives with her partner, two Doods named Emmett and Theodore, and a neatly arranged sneaker collection that would otherwise qualify as a hoard.

  • Efe Butev

    Efe Butev

    Client Strategy

An Istanbulite based in London, Efe is an aerospace engineer turned strategist who owns a portfolio of Brox's client relationships and makes sure clients get what they need, not just what they asked for. He's also the team's unofficial skipper and chef.

    London

  • Hamish Brocklebank

    Hamish Brocklebank

    Founder & CEO

Based in San Francisco, originally from London. Hamish founded Brox in 2023 after years building insights and data businesses. He spends most of his time with customers, and being told off by his co-founder and CTO for vibe coding.

    San Francisco

  • Merle Dias

    Merle Dias

    Panel Operations Lead

Owns the panel substrate and the operations pipeline that turns real interviews into twins.

    Delhi

  • Mateusz Flieger

    Mateusz Flieger

    Head of AI

Based in Poland, Mateusz spends most of the day in the engine room behind Brox's predictions. He measures a good day in problems solved and meetings avoided. Away from the keyboard, he's climbing, trekking, or treating a V60 pour-over with the seriousness most people reserve for their job.

    Poland

  • Natsuko Laity

    Internal Operations

Based in Vancouver, originally from Japan. Natsuko joined Brox after 14 years in software QA and a career as a Japanese localisation specialist. She builds the networks of influencers and organisations that bring quality panellists to the Brox panel. Despite a diploma in robotics and years working mostly with PCs, she's found people are harder to debug, but more enjoyable to work with.

    Vancouver

  • Sam Lecky

    Sam Lecky

    COO

Based in Brighton. Sam joined Brox in 2023 from insights and market research, and keeps ops and client support running while getting the twins to behave like real humans. He spends the rest mediating between Hamish's vibe coding and Durgé's blood pressure, and losing arguments with his dog.

    Brighton

  • Alina Lukawska

    Alina Lukawska

    Panel Operations

Based in Gliwice. Alina keeps the Brox panel running, which means staying a step ahead of spammers, being there for respondents, and making sure the data researchers get is trustworthy.

    Gliwice

  • Alex Mcintosh

    Chief Strategy Officer

Joining Brox in June 2026 as Chief Strategy Officer. Will lead Brox strategy across pharma, finance, and the human-truth layer roadmap.

    London

  • Shin Muroyama

    Head of Sales, Japan

Leads Brox sales and client relationships across Japan.

    Tokyo

  • Tymek Pudlik

    Tymek Pudlik

    Lead Front End Engineer

Owns the Brox front end and the reports that pharma and finance teams ship out of Ask Brox.

    Poland

  • Jacek Rzeszutek

    Jacek Rzeszutek

    Full Stack AI Engineer

Based in Gliwice, though he's explored 42 countries. Jacek is a software engineer and data scientist with 15+ years' hands-on experience, mostly in startups, including 10+ years with Hamish and Durgé. He spends most of his days building the Brox core platform and empowering the research team. He loves walking, cycling, jazz, Taoism, and automatic lawn mowers.

    Gliwice

  • Durgé Seerden

    Durgé Seerden

    Co-founder & CPTO

Based in Amsterdam. Durgé leads product and technology at Brox. He spends most of his time building the platform, keeping data secure, and preventing Hamish's vibe coding from becoming a security incident.

    Amsterdam

  • Catrin Williams

    Catrin Williams

    Head of Research & Insights

Based in London, Catrin joined Brox at the start to head up research and insights, after years of qualitative work in academia and consulting. She spends her days looking after clients and experimenting with new methods, pushing research as far as it'll go.

    London

  • Kalene Xu

    Kalene Xu

    Director of Clients

A Miami native, Kalene has spent ten years in tech unlocking consumer insights across industries. Previously at Netflix and Amazon, she joined Brox to return to her start-up roots and deliver turnkey insights to clients. There's a very high chance you'll see at least half of her Bengal cat's tail on every meeting.

How we work

We are deliberately small. We move fast, we ship product, we sit in customer rooms, and we publish in public. We do not believe in middle management or status meetings. Most decisions get made in writing.

San Francisco · London · Amsterdam · plus distributed contributors across Europe, the US, and APAC. We hire where the talent is.

Backed by

We are backed by venture investors who took their first cheque before we had revenue, and who continue to give us the runway to build the human-truth layer carefully.

We could write pages and pages of marketing and sales fluff but instead we'd prefer just to show you the product.

Contact us and we'll set up a call, during that call you should come prepared with some business and research requests and we'll go through them together live. We'll also explain how we build our digital twins, why you can trust them, how to deploy them, how much it costs (it's a lot), how we validate them and anything else you fancy talking about. You'll see ROI immediately.

Currently live in the US, UK, Japan and Turkey and launching in much of the Middle East and APAC pretty soon.
